Founding Partner, Blair Morgan, graduated from Edinburgh University in 1968 with an LL.B. He undertook his legal apprenticeship with J & F Anderson WS and qualified as a solicitor in 1970. Blair joined Macbeth Currie & Co in Dunfermline as a legal assistant in 1970, and was assumed partner in 1972. In 1993, Blair decided to set up his own practice, The Morgan Law Partnership to concentrate on his particular specialities. Blair originally specialised in residential and commercial conveyancing, acting for several builders and property dealers, but thereafter he acted for several well-known clients in the music and sports industries.
He currently holds a Player’s Agent Licence from the Scottish Football Association. He acts for several international players and football clubs and has been involved in many high profile transfer deals. He has now retired as Consultant and Senior Partner of The Morgan Law Partnership to concentrate on arranging holidays, watching sport and baby sitting his 10 grandchildren!
Sandy Muirhead graduated LL.B from Edinburgh University in 1972 and, after completing an apprenticeship in Edinburgh with J & R A Robertson WS, moved to Dunfermline in 1974. Originally an assistant with Stirling, Eunson & Ferguson he was a Partner with that firm from 1976 until his retiral in 2009 and joined Morgans as a Legal Consultant, in 2011.
During his time in Dunfermline Sandy has been Dean of the local Society of Solicitors, President of both Dunfermline Rugby and Sports Clubs and, in 2007, was appointed an Honorary Sherriff of Tayside, Central and Fife.
One of the first accredited family law mediators in Scotland, Sandy has at one time or another been heavily involved in all aspects of general legal practice, but he currently specialises in residential and commercial conveyancing, the winding up of estates, preparation of wills and powers of attorney, guardianships and general business.
